System used will depend on site.
How they work:
- A fan draws in air across an evaporator, containing heat energy across the evaporator
- The evaporator then turns liquid refrigerant into a gas
- A compressor pressurises the refrigerant into a hot gas
- The hot gas heats the water inside the coil-wrapped tank
- The refrigerant turns back into liquid after heating the water, then moves back to the evaporator to begin the process again
- This cycle continues until the water reaches your desired temperature.
